Positive Software Company has decided to change the name of Multi-store to Multi-site in Positive Retail manager to better reflect how the product is actually used. Many customers have warehouses, or mobile sales operations that aren’t really “store” sites, so Multi-site is a better descriptive name. We’ve already made the change to the dealer price list and should have our web site and marketing materials updated by the end of this month.
Our programming department has also made a number of enhancements to Multi-site and changed the installation proceedure. Starting with the next official release, there will be a specific registration for the Master Site, which must be completed first before any other site can be activated. Setup of Remote Sites will also be handled by the Master Site.
